A little Daddy time

Yes, we DO have a house!

So our cord to download pictures is currently MIA with the move, but I wanted to at least let everyone know we have a house!! It's totally amazing, we got a great deal on it, and I need a million dollars to landscape the heck out of it! he he...

This is Uncle Jus...

I think this is from the night Jus, Tori and Haley got in. Austin is always very observant around new people, but he's seen Jus's picture at the house a lot and used to smile at it when Dad would go through and play "Name Everyone on the Wall." So here he is, meeting Uncle Jus for the first time...

It's freakin' cold out here!

Nah, not really. But we did get this awesome down suit at a garage sale last summer for $8 and had to at least try it out while he still fit into it. So we tried it out, and he couldn't move much so it was short-lived. We did, however, get some good use out of it when we had the awesome xmas snow and all went to the sledding hill. He even fell asleep in it while Haley and assorted family members (Nana) slid down the hill.

Baby loves egg nog

Pete whipped up a batch of homemade soy egg nog over the holidays and Austin chugged a little of the non-alcoholic version. This is what finally convinced him to figure out the intricacies of a sippy cup...apparently water wasn't exciting enough...go figure :)

After he'd finished his cup and everyone else was still nursing their glasses, he started vocalizing (read "freaking out") that he needed some more...so we all had to hide our 'nog after that.

Chillin' with Haley

Jus, Tori and Haley drove up from Louisiana after xmas for a couple of weeks and it was AWESOME!! Austin fell in love with Haley. When they eventually left to go home, Austin was still running around the house looking for her when we showed up to Mom and Dad's. *sigh* poor guy. He was also just starting to get hooked on Jus and his random and distracting vocalizations...it was really great to hang out with them for a while.
